My Lawyer in Spain is pleased to announce that our very own Alex Radford will be taking part in the Remembrance Day Service and Act of Remembrance at St Georges Church in Malaga. The event will take place at 11.00, on 13 November, 2016.

Alex will be laying a wreath on behalf of the Board of Trustees for the English Cemetery. The Remembrance Day Service at St Georges Church is an annual event that has been running for over 15 years. It is always well-attended by members of the local community, who come together to honour the brave members of the armed forces who gave their lives for us.

It is a great privilege to take part in St George’s Remembrance Day service,” Alex says. “It is an important event in the in the community, and we’re always pleased to provide our support in any way that we can”.

The church service will start at 11.00, as the Chaplain and choir proceed into the church during the first hymn. The service should be finished around 11.45. By 11.55, the marching party will depart the church and march to the graveside holding area where the Act of Remembrance will take place.

After the event, tapas and wine served in front of church. All donations will be split evenly between the church and the fund for the upkeep of the cemetery.
